About this phone:
Many hours of time went into restoring the telephone itself. It
was completely disassembled. Each component both inside and
outside of the phone right down to the smallest screw was hand
cleaned and polished.
The body was repainted with care to be like the original
without being too shinny.
The dial
was disassembled, cleaned, lightly oiled, checked for
calibration and works nicely.  The finger stop was polished
to a shine.  The dial number plate has nice crisp numbers.
The hook switch and dial contacts were cleaned with original Bell
Telephone Seal Bond paper
specially designed for the purpose.
The felt bottom was replaced with new so it will not scratch
your furniture.
A new line cord was installed so that it will fit into today's
modern land line jacks. Just plug it in.
The Candlestick requires a separate ringer box in order to
function.  This early style Wooden Ringer Box is harder to
find and makes for a beautiful display.  It was completely
disassembled and refinished.
The subset and
receiver cords are new brown
cloth to match the original.
For collectors, the perch is the earlier hard to find
"Hershey Kiss" type that is more solid.
The phone is fully functional.  It sounds like an old time phone.
All antique rotary phones require a traditional landline
for dialing
out.  If you have another type of phone
service, check with your
provider as you may need
a pulse to tone converter to dial out.
They can be
purchased on
eBay
and easily added to the end of
the phone line jack.
