Description

Western Electric 553C Apartment Telephone and Call Box in Great Condition!  This telephone came from the Estate of a retired telephone repairman that collected only the best in vintage telephones.  The rotary dial is marked in red "4H IV 35" on the back and works as it should.  The voice cone appears to have no visible cracks or chips and is marked "American tel& tel co. 137 Made in USA".  The call box has the glass pane and instructions for use intact.  The handset has no visible cracks, but shows signs of use.  It is marked "Swedish American Telephone Co. Chicago USA" around the rim of the ear piece.  The handset cord is in good condition.  It comes pre-mounted to a black display board.  Condition is used.  It is untested and being sold "as is".  Please see pictures for condition.  Contact me with any questions.  Shipping in the lower 48 states USA only.  Thanks for viewing!
