    Description

1950 Vogue Strung, RARE, Transitional Ginny with Tri-color eyes that prefer to stay open, but can be closed. There are no scuffs or scratches to her eyelids.  She has  evenly-blushed soft pink cheek blush with no scuffs, and pale, peach lips. She retains her original blonde mohair wig in a soft flip
with bangs in excellent condition with no thin spots or problems.  Her eyelashes and brows are tan and distinct. Appropriately marked "Vogue Doll" on her back, and "Vogue" on her neck, she is an early strung doll, can stand on her own, hold all poses and has no body seam splits, stains, fading, odors or problems.
She is dressed in the 1950 Group K- Afternoon #8-1K Pam dress and matching bonnet.  The dress is a rosebud print dimity with attached pink organdy apron trimmed in eyelet lace.  It closes in back with the original hook and eye closure with no rust with a large pink organdy bow.  This is the same dress as the 1949 8-1C Debby dress. In both the Izen and Stover book and the Barbara Clark book it is shown with the eyelet-trimmed bonnet, but is also sometimes seen with a scallop-edge horsehair hat.  She wears pink organdy bloomers with nice elastic, excellent pink nylon socks and off-white oilcloth center-snap shoes with slick bottoms, secure snaps with no damage.
The ribbons and eyelet on the bonnet may have been replaced at some point as they look "newer" than the eyelet on the dress.
Please feel free to ask me questions. I want only delighted customers!  She is a true beauty!
