Vogue Ginny Brother Sister Bunky Binky DOLLS PE Strung Blue Ink Spot CS (2120)

Description

This is one of our aunt's treasured Vogue Ginny Doll sets. We believe that these are from the Brother Sister Series and are called Bunky and Binky.  This set is all dressed in blue. Dolls are strung (girl is a little looser than boy whose head tends to tilt); both are painted eye (PE) dolls with the boy having blonde hair and the girl having reddish hair. They are both marked Vogue on the backs of their heads, and Vogue Doll on their backs. They are not composition dolls. They have been carefully stored for some time and have a little mustiness from plastic bags inside a box. We prefer not to fully undress them but just let us know if you need any additional info as we definitely want to be sure you are happy with them. Their faces are really adorable, both have soft mohair type hair, with the boy's let side of hair shorter and found a small seam separation on the left side of his head (see photo 8). There are some random marks or rubs on their bodies, arms, legs. Just a very precious pair.
Their matching outfits both have an ink-spot tag on the backs of their bottoms (boy has shorts and girl wears a skort). Their adorable tops close with a hook-and-eye (no rust). Their hats are nice with boy's being longer with 3 felt flowers near the end, and girl's hat having a blue and pink felt flower on top. Both outfits are in nice condition and may have just a bit of looseness at waists. Their center snap shoes are pastel blue and the girl's have smooth bottoms while the boy's have fuzzy bottoms. The boy's shoes are nice with snaps secure but the shoe on his right foot has a bluish paint tone on the metal greek snap itself and there are some stains on inside of shoes. The girl's shoes have one shoe with a secure strap, but the other one was repaired and has some glue securing snap to base. We are hoping that photos 10 and 11 will show you the shoes and if you have any questions or need more pictures, please just let me know. This set has been a really cherished one and while not perfect, hoping that someone will love them just as much as we have.
