    Description

    Playbill for VIVIEN LEIGH starring as Sabina in London production of THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH which playwright Thornton Wilder subtitled "A History of Mankind in Comic Strip". This 1946 production at the Piccadilly Theatre was directed by Miss Leigh's husband, Laurence Olivier. This was a continuation of the same production which originally opened in 1945 but closed due to Miss Leigh's first bout of tuberculosis. It re-opened in 1946 following her successful recovery.
