    Description

    Signed Playbill by MAE WEST "COME ON UP"  Music Hall Kansas City, Mo. Jan. 1947 (see 1st pic). She appeared at the Music Hall from Jan 9th thru the 11th in 1947. (Note :This is the 2nd of two signed Mae West playbills obtained from an estate sale described below. The first West signed playbill has been sold.
    That sold playbill is shown in the last pic as comparison to this Mae West playbill up for this auction.  Notice the different locations of signatures between the two playbills.)
    The playbill for "Come On Up" signed by Mae West was obtained from a 2020 estate sale held in Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City.
    No COA was available. The playbill was found within a large vintage scrapbook filled with various playbills from the 1940's and other cut out articles and pictures. (see 11th pic).  Signature has been researched but not authenticated; research shows this signature to match closely to a certified Mae West autograph on a similar playbill for "Diamond Lil" at the Plymouth Theatre in New York.  We have sold hundreds of signed items, and we research several sites to assist in verification of signed items without a COA, and will only list items we deem to be legitimate. Refunds of original bid price plus shipping are accepted if autographed items are determined to not be authentic.
