For your consideration is this Alexandra Porcelain Works Ernst Wahliss piece from Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, Austria. I'd call it a mini planter, trinket dish or
Cigarette
box holder.
Size (inches):
It measures approximately 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" and stands about 5" tall including the owls, about 2 3/4" not counting the owls.
Description:
On the front and one side there raised branches with leaves that are gold accented. On the edge in the back stands two owls. They also have gold accents. Based on the backstamp this piece would have been made between 1921-1934 after Alexandra Porcelain bought out Porcelain Union, United Porcelain Factory AG.
Backstamps and embossed marked #1474 on the base.
Condition:
Pre-owned and is in very good condition, with some minor markings. There are no chips, no cracks and no crazing. Please preview all the photos as they are part of the description.
