    Description

Offering These exceptional Pair of Rare Lenox porcelain plates made in the 1880s. The plates measure aprox. 10 1/2" Inches in diameter. The plates feature extremely detailed  paintings of a young girl with a watering can in one hand, and a rake in the other watering Roses. The other depicts a young boy in the forest, blowing a horn in one hand, and holding a spear in the other. Surrounding the Hand painted center of the plates is a embossed Gold Gilt Boarder, over a striking Mint Green base color. I have never seen another Lenox plate with this level of Detail and Beauty. This pair of plates are about the same price as one good Royal Vienna plate; and the quality of the painting is exactly the same. I could find many signed Wagner Royal Vienna plates, before I would ever find another pair of plates like these. These plates are very clean and in excellent antique condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs, and very minimal wear. Both plates are *signed F. Werkner
