    U.S. Marshal Neal Brown 1896 Signed Document for Guard Chas Marshal in charge of prisoner Bill Dunn - Outlaw.  Size: 3-1/2" X 8-1/2"
    Neal Brown:  Deputy Marshal, former member of the Dodge City Peace Commission.  The famous photograph has the members - Chas E. Bassett, Wyatt Earp, Frank McLain, Neal Brown, W.H. Harris, Luke Short, W.B. Masterson, W.F. Petillon.  Neal Brown & Bill Tilghman were old friends in their Dodge City days.
    Bill Dunn:  Pawnee, Oklahoma Rancher, Bounty Killer, Cattle Rustler & Law Officer.  Dunn and his brothers ran a Road Ranch where travelers ate & slept. Some where robbed and murdered.  Two of the Doolin gang were killed at the ranch.  Dunn charged with cattle theft.  Nov. 1896 he blamed Frank Canton, Deputy Sheriff when he ran into Canton on the streets of Pawnee.  He drew his gun, but Canton was faster and shot him dead.  RARE Document!
