35th president of the United States. Document Signed as president. Oversized partly-printed official Document , 20" x 16", "City of Washington," April 17, 1962, Kennedy is appointing "Raymond H. Dwigans, of Texas, Collector of Customs for Customs Collection District No. 24." Countersigned by Treasury Secretary Douglas Dillon. Dillon's signature somewhat faded, President Kennedy's signature is very clear. Document has patriotic vignettes near the top and a seal in the lower left corner. Some toning to the paper and two small creases, but overall in very good condition with a good signature.
