    Description

Hookbill Cuisine is a high-quality seed-based diet for Medium to Large Parrots. It's a great base diet for birds ranging from the size of a Senegal or Sun Conure to a Macaw (although we supplement the Macaws by adding a few nuts in shell, and some of the birds on the smaller size may leave a lot of the larger pieces - you might want to try the Small Hookbill Cuisine for them). We have served this diet to our birds for years and I ship to many customers around the country who have moved away and are unable to find any mix their birds enjoy as much as this. Hookbill Cuisine contains NO Peanuts in shell and NO Sunflower Seeds in shell. We get this mix directly from the manufacturer and go through several hundred pounds per week, so the mix we send you will be extremely fresh.
    Ingredients:
Safflower, Buckwheat, Coconut, Pine Nuts, Hulled Peanuts, Pumpkin Seed, Pasta, Dehydrated Carrots, Pistachios, Paddy Rice, Hemp Seed, Dehydrated Green Peas, Dehydrated Banana Chips, Dehydrated Pineapple Dices, Dehydrated Papaya Dices, Hulled Almonds, Field Peas, Star Anise, Hulled Sunflower, Dehydrated Sweet Corn, and Cinnamon Sticks.
Because I offer FREE SHIPPING, I have to make every attempt to ship as inexpensively as possible and frequently that means using USPS Priority Mail Flat-Rate. If you are ordering 5 lb, you will most likely be getting your order in a Priority Mail Flat-Rate Padded Envelope. PLEASE OPEN THE ENVELOPE CAREFULLY as I'm unable to fit a sealed 5 lb. bag of food in the envelope, we simply pour the food directly into the envelope and seal it up tight. It works great, just be careful when you open the envelope - be sure to do it over a box or a large bowl - most people just cut a hole in the corner and pour it into a container. If you are getting 20 lb. you will be getting either one box, sent via FedEx Ground or two boxes sent via Priority Mail. For many 20 lb shipments, the cheapest way is to pack the 20 lbs into 2 Priority Mail Medium Flat-Rate Boxes with 10 lbs in each. The seed fits best if I split it into 3 bags in each box. If 20 lb at once is more than your storage space can handle at one time, I have no problem shipping the first 10 lb box immediately and sending your second box in a couple weeks or whenever you are ready.
