Description
Up For Auction - A Henry Disston & Sons D4 In A Very Useful 14" Blade Back or Tenon Saw From Around 1950 although it could be a little earlier. I've had this saw stored away for around 20 years. The saw shows no sign of ever being used Steel Back with Beech Handle attached by nickel plated screws. The blade is sharp and retains its factory edge and setting so please don't ask me about gullets or other stuff as it is what ever the factory did to the plate. Etch is weak showing Henry Disston & Sons Keystone Works Philadelphia with some dark areas but overall really nice for a saw that is around 70 or so years of age. Thisisn't
one of those Porter Saws out of Danville! D4's in this condition are becoming increasingly hard to find.
