Handbook of Old Pottery & Porcelain Marks, 1947, Hardback, Sorted by Country

I photographed this poorly.  Only now I see the inscriptions of those who gave it to others as a gift.  Cloffie S. Parsons received it from her mother in 1957 and from there it was gifted some more.  I am almost certain that this is a first edition because of the forward's reference to "the book we've all been waiting for..."  (I'm paraphrasing.)  The outside back and the inside front of the dust jacket is here.  It is missing no pages.  All the corners are fine.  A bit of wear on the top of the spine.  No stains or spills.
As a reference book, it's quite good!  Arranged by country so if you have a feel for where a mystery piece came from, it's easy to make a start.
This is left over from when I was dispersing my grandmother's porcelain collection, mostly her cups and saucers, and it was useful for identifying the age of a piece by the mark and the characteristics based on changes over time.  I have several books of this sort of subject matter.  Happy to combine shipping if you are interested in more than one.
