This is a one-of-a-kind hand made fountain pen that evokes the imagery of arctic ice and ocean, alongside a warm traditional look from a special type of wood called angelique, which derives exclusively from Suriname and French Guyana. The blue and white has a deep translucency with beautiful ribboning and mica. The hardware is plated in rhodium and black titanium. The fountain pen nib is iridium tipped and made in Germany. The crystal on the clip is Swarovski.
These combination designs of multiple materials take more time to complete than a typical handmade pen that you might see here on eBay, and have a special beauty. I prefer to make one-of-a kind pieces of art that you can treasure for the rest of your life, and then pass on as an heirloom. The pen comes with a refillable piston based reservoir if you prefer bottled ink, as well as a replaceable disposable cartridge if you prefer the convenience of simply popping in a fresh cartridge.
