Hand Made Beautiful Monarch Butterfly Closed End Design Fountain Pen

Description

This is a one-of-a-kind hand made fountain pen that evokes the imagery of a monarch butterfly.
The center band of the butterfly is made from African Ebony, the colorful swirled orange of the wing is acrylic resin, the inner perimeter of the wing is made from a South American wood called Angelique, the outer perimeter of the wing is an Asian wood called Burmese Blackwood, and the green background is a made from a special product called Tru-Stone that utilizes real gasparite with goldish-brown colored veins running through it.
Both the body of the pen and the cap were made using a very difficult and rarely employed technique that allows a solid closed-end for an exceptionally sleek and elegant appearance.
The fountain pen nib is iridium tipped and made in Germany. The pen will accept disposable ink cartridges, but also comes with a refillable bladder.
These designs take far more time to complete than a typical single material pen that you might see here on eBay, or one of the corporately mass produced inlay kits. The reason I choose to make these more complicated, challenging, and unique designs is not for the added price; they don't earn me more for my time. I prefer to make one-of-a kind pieces of art that you can treasure for the rest of your life. My pens are tools that will make taking notes a joy, and gliding your signature to seal a deal a cherished ceremony.
