Grateful Dead " New Years Eve ! " Ticket Stub !! ... for the 1986 - 1987 New Year's Eve Show !!! - at the Oakland Coliseum !!!!!
Dead Fans !!!  Talk about an over 30-Year Old ! " New Years Eve " Dead Ticket ! that is pretty much Sporting one of the Absolute-Coolest ! " Grateful " Designs of All-Time ! --- the Mouse / Kelley " Jester !! " ... the Visual Mastermind(s) Masterpiece of Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley !!!  And ... what a Killer ! '86-'87 New Years Eve Show this one was - as this actually only the " 2nd " Grateful Dead presented by BGP ! " New Years Eve " Show which was played in the East Bay in Oakland ! at the Deadhead's one & only Oakland Coliseum !!!  And ... it's no secret either - what set the " Rockin' " stage & fashion for this G.D. - N.Y.E. Show ... as it was The Neville Brothers !!!  As they came out - and Smoked-it ! - right after a Fantastic ! Set by the one & only ... David Crosby !  Wow ... but I'll tell ya' - as at this point, and beyond too ... the Dead & the Nevilles were getting a real ' Live-Synergy ! ' going on between them - in the Mid/Late-'80's ... with much of it actually being " In " Oakland ... and at " Celebration " & Event ! type Shows ... like New Year's Eve - Mardi Gras - Chinese New Year, and such.  And, you really can't beat " The Nevilles " as an opener - as that Good-Time sound & tone just gets a place up on it's feet ... and Rock & Rollin' !!!  And, you can see how much the Boys in the Dead loved them too ... as there was almost always ! bound to be a bit of playing-together " cross-pollination " between the Band !  And too ... as for the Dead-Sets ! - these were some very-very Extra-Special ! ones, as they indeed represented the " Triumphant Return " of Jerry Garcia from a near-death diabetic coma experience - earlier in '86 ... so, the Dead Fans were naturally Extra-Joyous ! - and the Stickers & Shirts in the Lot really-really told the story of how Grateful ! all the Fans were ... showing " The-Love ! ".
And ... the Grateful Dead Delivered ... Huge ! during their Show ... right out of the gate - with a Big ! Jack Straw > Sugaree - a Sweet ! Desolation Row - and a strangely-placed & Awesome ... " U.S. Blues ! " to close the 1st Set.  Then ... talk about things getting even ... Stranger ?? - the Band opens Set II with a Killer !!!  Touch Of Grey > into ... Let It Grow !!!  Just maybe to show how Garcia was not only ' back ' - but also ... " On " !!  And then ... Black Muddy gets played into > Samson !!!  Wow ... for sure, with this Set closing down with a high-High-Energy ! Lovelight !!  And, as for Set " III " not only did the Box Of Rain ! come out to play ... but so-did the Gimmie Some Lovin !!! & the Midnight Hour !!!!!  Whoa !?!?!!  And, naturally too ... just like You ! might have well guessed - in advance ... Bill Graham himself - flies in as an ... Eagle !!!  Ahhh ... yes.  Hence ! the U.S. Blues !!!  Loved-it big time ... and what a Hot-Show !!!  Grateful Dead ! - New Year's Eve '86-'87 !! - in Oaktown !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!

This Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead ( GDTS ) Used Mail Order Ticket for the 1986-1987 New Year's Eve Show on December 31, 1986 ( 12/31/1986 ) at the Oakland Coliseum Arena in Oakland, California ( CA ) is in Good condition - showing light/medium show-used wear & very light creasing (please see all photos).  Ticket is torn on the perforated edge, and has light/medium surface wear, very light creasing, and a pin/tack hole present on one corner (upper-left).  This Ticket saw the Show, and looks pretty good too - for seeing this Show - well-over 30-Years Ago !  ' Good ' condition, and maybe Good/Very Good to some.  Please see all photos & close-up photos provided.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.  A Vintage-Original ! G.D. 1986-87 New Years Eve Ticket Stub !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!
