Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) G.D.T.S. ' Mailorder ' Ticket for your Grateful Dead and Rock & Roll Memorabilia Collection !  This is an Original December 28, 1987 ( 12/28/87 ) Grateful Dead Ticket ( Unused & " Collected-Only ! " ) for the Oakland Coliseum - Oakland, California ( CA ) 1987 - 1988 " New Year's Eve " run of Shows !!!  And, widely known for years now to the Dead Fan Faithful ! as the " Ticket To New Years ! " run ( since back the Late-'90's ) - when the '87 - '88 New Years Show ( 12/31/1987 ! ) was actually " Pro-released " on Video in VHS - Lazerdisc - DVD !  And, like many Oakland Grateful Dead New Year's Eve Show runs in the '70's, '80's & '90's ... this was a 4-Show stand in California - with this '87-'88 run actually being the 1st ! New Years run at the " Oakland Coliseum " instead of at the " Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center " ( aka. " Oakland Auditorium " ) - dating back to 1979 - 1980 !  So, pretty special for certain - in that regard.  This was a 4-Show stand leading up to & including the 12/31/87 Show ... and this was the 2nd ! Show of this 4-Show run - 12/28/1987 !  With ... the Very-Cool ! & Quite-Rare !! Grateful Dead " Bertha Skull & Roses ! " Ticket Logo Design.  With this of course being one of the Grateful Dead Tickets Services ( GDTS ) " Mailorder " Tickets ! - instead of the standard Bass - Ticketmaster - Fast Tixx, etc. type tickets - way more common in the '70's, '80's & '90's Grateful Dead Touring-Years.  And ... a Red-Hot ! Stranger > Franklin's ! opened-up this 12/28 Show ! - with a Sweet !! Sugaree > Bucket ! closing this First Set !  With, even a Far From Me in there too ... courtesy of Brent !  Minglewood & Masterpiece from Bobby ! ... and a Fine ! Row Jimmy from Garcia !!  And then ... here it Comes ! - China > Rider > Cumberland !!!  Whoa !?!?!  Just Killer !!  And, if you still have yet to hear this one on Tape ... get on it !  It was planned, timed, spot-on ... & Fiery !!!  Just Beautiful !!  And then ... on the back set of II - out of Drums / Space... Wheel > Truckin' > Smokestack !!!  And even a little Sugar Mag ! ( just for Bill ! ... Ha !! ).  Completely-Killer ! Live-Dead !!  Black Muddy as the ' Encore ' and then Still ! 2-Shows to go ... on this 1987-88 New Years Eve G.D. run !  And yep ... yet ' another ' Legendary ! Grateful Dead " New Years Eve " run of Shows ... in Good Ol' OakTown !!!  Grate ! Times - for certain & for All !! ... Enjoy !!!!!

" run of Shows ) at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California ( CA ) in Excellent (Near Mint/Mint!) condition (please see photos!).  Ticket has some very-light natural ink smudging from the manufacturing/printing process (please see photos/close-up photos).  Please see all photos provided.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.  A Way-Cool !
