Grateful Dead Fans ! ... who know a Good Ol' Vintage-Original ! G.D.T.S. Mail Order Ticket - when they see-one.  Well ... this-here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) G.D.T.S. ' Mail Order ' Ticket for the November 3, 1984 ( 11/3/84 ) Show at the Berkeley Community Theatre ( B.C.T. ! ) in Berkeley, California !!!  Wow ... and one of the Sweetest ! Grateful Dead Ticket designs ever ... the Legendary ! Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley designed " Bertha ! Skull & Roses !!! ".  And ... this 11/3/1984 Ticket is actually for the Last & Final " Closing Night " of this ( Amazing !!! ) 6-Show G.D. stand at the Good Ol' B.C.T. !!!!!!  And ... ( Wow !?! ) ... as-for this 6-Show G.D. stand in Berkeley ! - or, as some like to say ... Bezerkley !! - the musical caliber of this G.D. & Fan Celebration of this '84 Fall Tour Bay Area stand was nothing ! short of Grateful Dead Mid-'80's Legend !  I actually used to live in Berkeley myself - and, attended U.C. Berkeley too - so, maybe I'm just a ' tad ' bit biased ?!  But, nahhh .... just go & throw any of these 12 Dead Sets from this run in the Good Ol' Nak - and you'll see that my opinion here is just part of the Dead Fan majority !!  " S " for SMOKIN' !!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh my gosh, are these Shows Hot ! - and is the Band just Stellar ! ' On '.  This was a pretty special event in itself, for the Band to even be able to play at the BCT, considering the Venue size - so, hence ... the 6-Shows ! to at least make ticket distribution kind of fair.  Well in fact, the 10/27/84 Show just a few days prior actually represents the very-first time that there was a designated " Tapers-Section " !!!  So yeah ... Hail to the Tapers !!  Which ... actually had a " Bertha " G.D. Logo Design on it too ! - so Yeah !! ... " Bertha " pre-planned & selected for the ' Opening ' & ' Closing ' Shows of this Very-Special ! 6-Show BCT G.D. stand !!  Pretty cool, indeed ...  And too, the rest of this killer run also even included a " Halloween " Night Show as well ! ... just a couple days prior to this Show !!  A Show that you would initially think - could Not ! be topped ... but, just leave it to the Good Ol' ( '80's ! ) Grateful Dead - as Both ! of the 11/2/84 & 11/3/84 Shows on the back-end of this run are ( completely ... ) packed full of Power, Passion, Musical-Attack ! ... and basically, just Stellar ! Live G.D..  Or, as some might say ( including me ! ) ... Lighting ! in a Bottle.  Whoa !!?!!  Halloween delivered a Shakedown opener ! - Lightning > Supplication, and even a Miracle > into the 1st ! ' Superstitious ' !!!  A Mind Left Body Jam ... a killer Dew ! - and even a Satisfaction Encore !  And then ... the 11/2 Show kicked-down the Smokestack > Spoonful > Smokestack ... Iko ! - the Help > Slip > Franklin's !!!  Sailor > Saint.  And then ... ( out of Wharf Rat ) >>> Gimmie Some Lovin' > Drums > Space > Playin' Reprise > Bertha > Good Lovin' !!! - with even a Casey Jones Encore !!!  And this was actually the last time the Boys even played Casey Jones ... until many of us caught it at R.F.K. on 6/20/1992 ?!?!! ( a Grate ! day in my life ... Yeah !! ).  Wow ...  I mean can this G.D. action even get any Hotter ??  Well, here's the answer to that question ... the " This-Night " !! ... on 11/3/84 !!!  The Last & Final-Show of this Historic ! " 6-Show Stand " at The B.C.T. !!!!!  And after featuring a 1st Set that delivered a Red-Hot ! Meet Me At The Bottom - and, a jaw-dropping Music Never Stopped > Deal ! 1st Set Closer ... things got Spooky !  And Spooky, in a Real-Grate ! way ... my goodness.  I'll just recite the 2nd set here for you - which, may I add ... does not even tell 1/2 of this story ...  Grateful DEAD !!!  >>> Stranger > Cumberland - Gloria ! > Do It In The Road !! > Jam ! > Drums > Space > Uncle John's Band > Mr. Fantasy > Throwing Stones > Lovelight !  With a sweet little Brokedown Encore ! to put this Legendary ! run to rest.  Wow !!!!!!  " Dave's Picks " should being without any-question be " Picking " from this run ... rightfully-giving the Mid-'80's & 1984 ! the Love it Deserves !! ... and, that the Boys hard-earned for it !  I mean ... if you have still to hear this little Fall Tour '84 run of Sheer ! G.D. Magic in Berkeley, well ... you really-really ' need ' to.  Pure-Heat Everywhere ! all-throughout this 11/3 Show, and arguably to some Fans out there who this '84 BCT run is very near & very-dear to ? ... pound-for-pound ... though this ' Whole ' run was Killer !! - the 11/2 & 11/3 Tapes are the ones that we Still ! " Constantly " grab for !  Gosh ... do I Still ! Love saying ( or, even typing ... " Tapes !! " ) - Ha !  As personally ... I actually kind of have " Lived-For " 11/2/84 & 11/3/84 for Decades ! - a couple of my Absolute-Favorite ! Shows from the Entire ! 1984 G.D. Touring-Year !!  Just a Completely-Massive ! 11/3 Night of '84 Live-Dead !!! ... Straight ! from the G.D. Hot-Zone !!!!!  The Garcia-Zone !!!  One of the Sweetest ! GDTS ticket designs out there too ... the Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley " Bertha " Skull & Roses !!!  And, as it goes without saying - with no doubt at all ... one of the Hottest ! Mid-'80's G.D. runs - ever ...  6-Shows at... ' The ' B.C.T. !!!!!!  Enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!!
