Dead Fans ! - Stanford Fans !! - Fans of the Frost !!! ... and of course - of the ' Eye Of Horus !! ' Egyptian symbol !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the May 2, 1987 ( 5/2/1987 ) Show at the Frost Amphitheater right-on on the Stanford University Campus on the 1987 Spring Tour !  Wow ... this G.D. Pass is just Stunning !  This is a design that was used by the Grateful Dead in the Late-'80's & Early '90's ( from 1987 through 1991 ( approximately ) ) - but, many of these Passes were designed to feature this Eye Of Horus " Egyptian Eye " symbol in black - with a lighter beige background ... but this Pass ?  Whoa !!  A stunning Bright-Red ! Color is used for the " Eye Of Horus " symbol ... with a Black background to provide the both Bright & Bold ! contrast !!  And ... as for the " Eye Of Horus " symbol ?  Well, I'm assuming that you are already aware - if you are looking to acquire this one -- but, it is indeed an Egyptian symbol that goes back to the Era of Hieroglyphics !  And the meaning of the symbol itself ?  Well, it can certainly be interpreted in many different lights ... but, to me & my personal definition ?  I would best explain it as a symbol of both Healing, Rebuilding & Restoration ... and also, definitely one of Protection too.  Or, as many Dead Fans more commonly like to refer to it ... a symbol of Iko Iko !!!  Or, as some also say Aiko !!!  Wow, and just the fact that this one was indeed selected for the Frost !! ... in Red !!! - really makes it all the cooler ... unless, of course - you are a Cal Fan ?!?  Ahhh ... I went to Cal for a while myself, and I still really-dig this one -- I mean doesn't the Good Ol' Grateful Dead always bring us all together ?!  Iko Iko !!!!!!!  Certainly one of the Very-Coolest ! G.D. Pass Art Designs of the Late-'80's, and it probably should also be noted that on this very-special night at the Frost ?!!  One More Saturday Night closed the 1st Set !! ... & the China > Rider !!! came out to play ... as did the Morning Dew !!!!!  Aiko !!! & Hey Now !!!!!
