Grateful Dead Fans !!!  Wow ... what a Stunning ! Serpent Dragon !! art design on this G.D. Pass - and indeed ... for New York !  At the G.D. Long Island Home-Away-From-Home ! ... the Nassau Coliseum !!!  This is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the '93 Spring Tour Show at the Nassau Coliseum - in Uniondale, New York ( NY ) of April 2, 1993 !  The ' Middle ' 3rd Night - of a 5-Night Grateful Dead stand - inside the Proud Home of the New York Islanders !  Awesome ...  Check out the photos on this one, and really - what you will see is one of the Strongest ! & Coolest !! Grateful Dead Backstage Pass designs of the Late-'80's & Early-'90's !!  The shiny tan satin on this Pass truly serves as a Stellar ! Background for this nothing-short of Amazing ! " Serpent Dragon ! " design, which shows its dark design-lines Beautifully ! with the color-contrast offered.  I believe this Killer ! Pass design debuted in the Late-'80's, with the 10/26/89 Miami Arena version coming directly to my mind - with that one, being a different color variation, in just black & white.  But this one, with the color-shininess ... just radiates way-nicely !  Sort of a Fancy-Dragon here, if I may.  Though, at the same time - I'm not sure this Dragon would dig being called ' Fancy ' - as he Might As Well prefer ... ' Mean ' !!!  Or, maybe better yet ... just ' Strong & Wise ' !!!  But, one thing I can say ... I don't know if this would have made the best Pass design just 24-hours prior, as that Nassau Show was for the April Fools 1993 Celebration !!!  You know ... the one where Phil dressed up as " Barney " the Dinosaur - and the Band got sued !?!  Now that's ! a pure-classic ... I mean Whoa ?!? Corporate America - have you ever heard of Free-Advertising !?!  I'll never forget that one, for certain ... Ha !  Wow ... I will certainly say though - this little period here was yet Another ! seriously-impressive resurgence for the the Good Ol' Grateful Dead !!?!  In fact, it really was right around this time ( Spring Tour '93 ), that they really began a solid & consistent playing-live hot streak - that arguably continued all the way through Winter Tour '94 ( February in Oakland !! ) - and, I suppose you could also argue that this impressiveness really continued all the way into both the Spring & Summer '94 Tours - but, as most could agree ... there was certainly some hit & obviously some miss too.  But, on a " Good Night " in this Era?  Whoa !!!  And, as we all know ... the Band just Always ! tried to deliver the hot & heavy goods - when in New York !  No matter where, may it be at Knickerbocker - Giants - M.S.G. - Nassau - I mean you name it ... as there sure-were some high standards from the Way-Loyal ! G.D. Fans - and the Band ... well, they totally knew-it !  Personally, I think this Spring Tour '93 run was kind of the beginning of things rolling downhill again - and, I mean downhill in a nice & easy way.  Versus up-hill, which - I personally equate to trying to have 2 Keys players in a band.  It may work with some bands ?  But, with the G.D. - you've already got 2 Killer Drummers - Bobby Ace - Phil on Lead-( Bass )-Guitar ... and, that other guy too - who, I personally-consider to be the " Real " King of Rock & Roll !!!  And yep, even in '93.  Ha !  And, as far as this 5-Night Nassau run goes ?  Well, you could argue ( pretty-easily ? ) that this 4/2/93 Show was indeed the Hottest !  I mean hey, even though it's just on ' Paper ' ... let's put it this way -- Set I ' Opener ' = Help > Slip ! > Franklin's !!! ... and, as for the Set II ' Opener ' ? = Scarlet > Fire !!!  Dang ... Blammo !  Digital-Dead ! just bringing the Heat ! in the Good Ol' Nassau Coliseum !!!  A pretty respectable Terrapin ! too right in the thick of things too ... Very-Nice !!
Yeah, so - I must be sincere here ... as I pretty much think that " Everything ! " Rocks about this 4/2/93 Backstage Pass ... with a Dead Show that's tough to beat - and a Pass design on this one that really cannot-be-beat !  Enjoy this serious
