'84 Summer Tour here, as that is indeed a 4-letter word that started sounding real-good ... in " Deadheadland " - in the ' Mid-'80's ' !!!  This is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) G.D. Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the June 24, 1984 ( 6/24/1984 ) Show at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center - in Saratoga Springs, New York ( NY ) ... aka. " SPAC " - Ha !  Yep, I love saying it, as these Mid-'80's G.D. Shows just make'ya !  And too - naturally ... Susie Reed Art on this Pass - Blossoming Red Roses !!!  And, lots of'em too ... for S.P.A.C.!!!  Alright - well, enough about SPAC ... as it is indeed now time to get on to the ... --- >>> DANCIN' !!!!!!!!!  Ha !  Whewww !!  Dancin' In The Streets !!!  Yep, you betcha ... as it was ' Back ' ! - and the Band just Hammered ! it right out of the gate -- for the ' Show-Opener ' !!!  As for a good while there, it kinda looked like it might have just ' Danced ' it's way straight out of the Band's song-rotation - as it had been shelved for just about 3-Years ... and hadn't been played since Summer Tour '81 !?!  But, thank-goodness .. because this is a song that still had some serious life to come in the Mid-'80's - Big-Time !  Played quite a few more times - and delivered Large ! like the Live Dead Fan Favorite ! that " Dancin' " is.  Though ... hmmmm ... it still might be a little tough to top 10/27/79 Cape Cod - Whoa !?????  But, what am I saying here ... as that kind of talk of sort of like the opposite of saying that Ithaca '77 was a crummy show - in reverse ?!  Ahhh, oh well - just let that inside-joke remain !?!  Classic ...  Well hey too, it's really good that Bertha ! got laid down - in Set II ... right between Miracle & Playin' ?!!! -- because the fact is ... this Show was an All-Night Pouring ! Rainstorm !! ... SPAC !  Bucket > Deal closed up Set I - and I've got to tell'ya ... it was HOT !!!  Samson is pounding & tight ! - while the Other One just got So-'84 ... you know what I mean, just Completely-Killer !!!  I'm going to write a book one day - which tries to piece together all of the proof & facts ! that the 1981'ish to 1986'ish & 1987'ish to Summer '90 -- were indeed the Years that Garcia " Personally " felt the Band's Music was the Best ' Live ' ... from a standpoint of being delivered with both ! the most ' Heart ! ' - and, at the same-time too ... ' Accurate & Controlled ! - " Reckless-Vigor ".  When I see Rock & Roll ... I want ! to see the Big Boys out there take the ' Huge ' chances on stage.  And That ! Fans is one of the ( many ) reasons why Garcia is the All-Time Best !  He'll even steamroll another Band Member live & on stage when things are gettin' Hot !  Because let's face it ... when things " get-there " for any serious & accomplished musician - the Music ! just Plays ' You ' !!  Garcia was so-Nasty ! in '84 ... Guitar-Clinic Night, after Guitar-Clinic Night.  I live for this kinda G.D. Heat ... and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to quit.  OhhhhhNoooooOOOO !!!!!  Ha !!  Sugar Mag to close ... & Satisfaction > Baby Blue as the Encore !! - with Bobby Ace ! doin' a little ' Steam-Rollin ' of his own !!  More G.D. Heat !!! .... @ SPAC !!!!!  Enjoy !!!!!!!
