Wow !!!!!  As offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the Rare '79 May Tour Show at the " Billerica Forum " - in Lowell, Massachusetts ( MA ) !  That's-right - The Grateful Dead ! at the ... " Billerica Forum !!! ".  The One & Only ! Grateful Dead Show Ever ! in Lowell, MA - at The ' Billerica ' !!  And, for Dead Fans close to 40-Years Ag
o ! ... this '79 ' May ' Tour was a complete Must-See !  And for Dead Fans too ... this was a shot to actually see the Band Rock ! the Billerica Forum !! where they only played one-time ever ... in comparison to say, in Boston - where the Grateful Dead played slightly over 50 ! Shows in their Stellar 30-Year Career !!  A Total Must-Have ! piece of G.D. Memorabilia for your Collection - when it comes to Ultra-Rare " Venue " items - as to my knowledge, this Backstage Pass and the Concert Ticket itself are the only items that even exist, as far as The Grateful Dead at Billerica ! goes.  Unless, there was a regional concert poster too for this Show, of which - I'm not personally aware.  And too ... this is Gilbert Shelton " Shakedown Street !!! " Artwork that we are talking about here !  And as we all well-know ... " Nothin's Shakin' on Shakedown Street " !!!  I mean is Lowell, Mass. actually " The Heart Of Town " ?!  Ha !  And my goodness too - as far as this '79 May Tour goes - as this was indeed a Grateful Dead ' Changing of the Guard ! ' Tour for certain - being the Very 1st ! Tour Back-East with Brent Mydland as a part of the new-look & form Good Ol' Grateful Dead !  This '79 May Tour kicked off  Back East at the Charlotte Coliseum in North Carolina ... then stopped at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia ... then to the Baltimore Civic in Maryland ... then to Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania ... then, on to Recreation Hall at Penn State University ... then to Broome County Arena in Binghamton, New York ... and then --- to Lowell, Mass. at the Billerica Forum !!! --- with the final Two-Shows on this run taking place at University of Massachusetts - Amherst, and then at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine ... where a U.S. Blues Encore ! closed-up this fine G.D. Tour.  Well, the fact is - on 5/11/79 at the Billerica - and really on this whole G.D. May Tour ... this was truly the " Launch " of the G.D. " Go To Heaven " Tour !!! which really did trademark a whole-new Grateful Dead Era !  New material on this run the likes of Alabama Getaway - Far From Me - Althea - Feel Like a Stranger - Lost Sailor - Saint of Circumstance - Don't Ease Me In - and one of my personal Brent favorites to this very day ... Easy To Love You !  Well, you know - right along with my other favorites ... like :  Alabama - Althea - Stranger - Sailor > Saint, etc. ... Ha !!  Point being, this was new & fresh material - with some serious G.D. Heart !  Very well-written, and Amazingly-played ' Live ' stuff that truly settled in over the next close-to 15-Years for the Dead ! - and Dead Fans ! Live !!  All of this material ' Debuted ' Live in either '79, or '80 - and built a solid creative platform for the next decade & a half !  And, at this Billerica Forum Show - the Dead Fan Faithful ! were treated to a 1/2 Step Mississippi > Franklin's ! Show-Opener !! ... a Lazy Lightning > Supplication ! First-Set Closer !! ... and a " Shakedown Street !!! " Second Set Opener! - Just Like on ' This-Pass ' !!! - so totally cool ...  A Smoker ! of a Passenger followed-up Shakedown - with an Estimated > Eyes to follow ... and a Powerhouse !!! Miracle > Bertha > Good Lovin' !!! to close up this Show.  Pretty-Hot ?  Nope ... Try Way-Way Hot !!!  A True ! " Must-Have " piece of G.D. History ! here for any Fan who Loves ! their Grateful Dead - and especially for all of you fellow Dead Fan " Massachusettsians " out there !!  Did I spell it right ?  Ha !  Well - Hey Now !!! ... & Enjoy !!!!!

Pass has a small ( tiny ) piece of paper backing missing from the Pass backing on the bottom border corner area ( bottom right corner ( on front ) / bottom left corner ( on back ) ) - and light-medium corner/edge light surface wear indentations & fraying ( please see photos / close-up photos #10 & #11 ).  Please see all photos & close-up photos provided.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.
