Deadheads from the Mid-West !!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Original ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the March 2nd, 1981 ( 3/2/1981 ) Show at the Cleveland Music Hall - in Cleveland, Ohio ( OH ) !! ... now days - the Proud-Home of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame !!  Of which ... you-bet the Grateful Dead are a proud and beyond-deserving member ... " Since 1994 !! ".  Ha !  Wow ...  and Musically ? - it is indeed Spring Tour 1981 that we are talking about here my fellow Dead Fans - and these were still the ' relatively ' early-days in the 30-Year Career of The Grateful Dead ( 1965 - 1995 ) - where the ability to play smaller & more intimate ' special ' type indoor Venues was still fair game !  And in this case, we are talking about The Grateful Dead setting up shop & doing what they do best - delivering some of the best live Rock 'n Roll this Planet has ever-seen ... & taking it right to the People ! - inside the Cleveland Music Hall ! in Ohio !!  And, over their 30-Years Live Touring Career - the Band played around 50-Shows in Ohio !  With, Richfield hosting the most Shows ( 13 ) - Buckeye Lake hosting the 2nd most Shows ( 5 ) - and the Cleveland Music Hall coming in 3rd ... with Four ( 4 ) Dead Shows all between 1970 and 1981 ( 10/17/1970 - 11/20/1978 - 3/2/1981 - 3/3/1981 ) ... with this Pass here proudly representing the 3/2/81 1981 Spring Tour Show !  Rick Griffin " G.D. Skull & Crossbones !! " Art ! on this one Fans ... in Orange !  For a Show that started off on the ' Right ' foot - with a Shakedown Street !!!  Excellent-versions of both Cassidy & Althea back to back inside this 1st Set - with a Lazy Lightning > Supplication ! to closely follow with a Booming Gusto !!  Wow ! - and, like I even need to mention it - but ... Lightning > Supp was Smokin'-Fast & Red-Hot ! in '81 - with this really being an ideal version to enjoy.  And then Don't Ease > Promised Land ! to close Set I - with just-the-same in Charged-Energy !!  And, for lack of a better way to say it ... well, Set II was nothing short of that " G.D. Magic ! " - so incredibly-hot !! - and creatively assembled ! - that it deserves being mentioned in entirety right-here ! >>> Ramble On - Playin' > China Doll > Drums/Space > Playin' > Wheel > Around > Johnny B. Goode !! ... with a U.S. Blues Encore !  And, when Johnny B. comes out - we all know what that most-often means ... that when there is ' Dead-Smoke ! ' - there is " Dead-Fire !! ".  With this version being a prime-example for certain.  And, it should be noted too that the " Playin' " sandwich-journey was pure live & improvisational G.D. excitement ... all ! the way through.
