" Backstage Pass " VHS Movie ! : 1992 Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc. ( GDM ) - Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) : ' Original ' Collectible Promo Issue - ( * Not Valid At Grateful Dead Concerts * ) : Very-Rare !!!
    G.D. Fans !!  Seeing this should indeed ... make you " Smile !!! ".  Take yourself back now in that handy ' Time-Machine ' - to the Grateful Dead Touring-Heavy ! Year of 1992 - and you will quite likely remember this one !!  A Magnificent ... and Way ! Oversized - close to Huge ! Promotional Steal Your Face ! " Backstage Pass " ( sticker-patch / satin ) that was issued & distributed with ( and only-with ! ) the VHS Movies of " Backstage Pass " !!!  This over 25-Year Old ! ( Whoa ?! ... time-flies . ) ' Promotional ' Commemorative Backstage Pass measures close to Four-Inches by Six-Inches ( 4" x 6" ) ... and the only way to get one of these was right inside the VHS Box !!!  Now, I'm not certain if this was a Limited Edition - or Early / Pre-Order deal, at the time ... or, if all the VHS copies came with one of these ?  But ... here a couple decades later - finding one of these is a Rarity !  Sizing at 6-Inches High !! - this Promo Pass really makes like the Ultimate ! sticker for Trunk - Foot-locker - Gear Box - Guitar Case ... or, naturally too ... for your G.D. Collection !  I never had the heart to ' stick ' this one - as it just looks so cool as-is.  But, at the same time - it wouldn't look too bad slapped right on the side of an Amp !!  Just a Grate ! looking piece for certain !!  The Movie itself was directed by Justin Kreutzmann ( Son of B.K. ! ) - and ... it was a Huge !!! release when it came out in '92 - you know ... Short, Sweet ! - and nothing-short of ' Amazing ' !!!  The Tape was short like under 40 minutes ?  But ... here was the set it contained >>> Hard To Handle > Fearless Groove > The Other One > Easy To Love You > She Belongs To Me > Infrared Roses Revisited !  And, when this tape came out ... our G.D. Fan Crew was nothing-short of - Completely-Crazy ! about this one ... Wow !!!  In fact, to date ... I'm not sure that this has been released in any other form than VHS ?!?  Well, I could be wrong on that ... but, if so - I myself have never seen a DVD of it ... individually sold, or otherwise.  And, that's just the Movie itself that I am speaking of here ... because - as for the Cloth / Satin Pass itself ... well, naturally - 1992 Only !!  Rare ! - Awesome !! -- & even on a " Starliner " Backstage Pass backing !  Way-Cool ! ... and Way-Big Too !!  Heck, if you Collect Backstage Passes - well then ... I suppose you Must ! have this Rarity.  So cool, for certain ...  Enjoy !!!!!
