he Grateful Dead ! meets Marvel Comics !! ... " Galactus !! " & " The Skrulls !!! " -- The Amazing ! 6/27/95 & 6/28/95 G.D. Backstage Passes from the Band's Last/Final Concerts ' Ever ! ' - in " The~Mit !!! " ... Michigan !!!!
Grateful Dead Fans !! - Dead Fans from perhaps the Mid-West ! - and of course too ... " Grateful-Michiganders !!! ".  As offered here are the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Passes ( sticker-patches / satins ) - the ' Complete ! ' 2-Show Pass Set !! - for the '95 Summer Tour Michigan Shows ! at The Palace - in Auburn Hills, Michigan on June 27th & 28th 1995 ( 6/27/1995 & 6/28/1995 ).  The ' Last & Final ! ' Grateful Dead Concerts " Ever !! " in the Grate ! State of Michigan !!!  And, as for design on this Very-Cool ! G.D. Backstage Pass ... none other than the Marvel Comics " Galactus !! " & " The Skrulls !!! ".  And, at least to my eye ... these are indeed two of the Coolest ! G.D./Marvel Passes Ever-Made ! - of All-Time !!  And keep in mind too G.D. & Marvel Comics Fans - as these Amazing ! Ultra-Colorful ! Passes were only featured in " 1995 " - which did end up being the ' Last & Final ' Touring-Year of The Grateful Dead !  And, if you're a Fan of Marvel Comics ( & Stan Lee ! ) ... well then who's really any cooler than ' Galactus ! ' & ' The Skrulls !! ' ? ... maybe only " The Grateful Dead !!! " - Ha !  I must say that in my wildest dreams, I never thought we'd ever see the faces of the Galactus ! ( on the 6/27/95 Pass ! ) & The Skrulls ! ( on the 6/28/95 Pass ! ) right-on Grateful Dead Backstage Passes !?! ... but oh how so-fitting though, right ?  Right-on !!  " Galactus ! " was a Top-Notch " Super-Villain !! " for most-certain.  As in fact, his Very 1st Debut was in " The Fantastic Four " Series ... in 1966 !  So this would be like 30-years after his initial-creation by the Marvel Comics Illustrators - that he makes his way to a Grateful Dead Backstage Pass !!  Pretty darn cool ... I mean talk about some serious ' Super-Villain ' Shelf-Life !!  Come to think of it too, this would actually make " Galactus ! " & " The Grateful Dead ! " just about the exact same age !!?!  Give a year though, I suppose.  I don't know my fellow Fans, but am I correct in saying that part of the Show that Galactus likes the very best, might just be ... " Space !!!? " ( Ha ! ).  That, and the 6/27/95 ' Standing On The Moon !! ' - Absolutely.  I'd think so, as he's a Smooth-Villain ! indeed.  And ... it's not too often either that you get the Dragons & Demons, or Space Demons ? ... much less " The Skrulls !!! " - on a Rock & Roll ! - Grateful Dead !! Backstage Pass !!!  As " The Skrulls " made their Very 1st Marvel ' Debut ' in Fantastic-Four # 2 - way-back in 1962 !  Famous for things such as attempting to " Sabotage ! " America's Space Program !!  Wait, well then that actually makes these " Skrulls " quite different then the Grateful Dead - because on a Good-Night ? ... the Grateful Dead would Gladly ! take You !! ... " Straight-To-The-Moon !!! " - Ha !!  Kind of just-like they did too at this 6/28/95 Michigan ( Palace ! ) Show !!  The 1st Set delivered kind of like a " What You Want To Hear ! ... at a Dead Show " type set - with Good Morning Little Schoolgirl ! - Loser - Black-Throated Wind - Tom Thumb Blues - Big Railroad Blues - and Music Never Stopped ! All !! getting delivered !!!  Cheers to That ! song-rotation ... I mean seriously !?!  And, as for Set II - I sure bet The Skrulls ! dug this one, because it was-indeed one of those G.D. " Take You ! to The Moon " 2nd Sets ! ... China > Rider !!! right out of the gate !  With a Big-League Estimated > Uncle John's ! ... then closing the Show with an Attics Of My Life !! > Good Lovin' !!!  And ... as for the Encore ?  Well, you can't really beat this one when it comes to a G.D. Cover tune ... Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds !!!  Wow ... What a Show ! the Boys delivered here for the " Motor-City ! " Dead Fan Faithful !!  I don't know, but ' both ' Galactus ! & the 5-Faces of these Skrulls ! look pretty-darn-pleased ( I mean ... as pleased as they can be ! ) on these G.D. Backstage Passes - as hey ... how couldn't they be ?!!  Just Gotta-Love these Grateful Dead-Meets-Marvel " Michigan-Dead ! " Passes !!! - some Really-Grate ! Ones - for most-certain ... Enjoy !!!!!
